Guacamole is one of my top fave comfort foods, especially when it’s homemade! This recipe has been a family favorite for around 2 years now, and by family favorite I mean that I secretly eat it all? That’s okay, right? Our trip to Mexico was guacamole heaven!!! It was out for breakfast, lunch, dinner, at snack bars, everywhere! Also loved the pico de gallo and of course the freshly fried tortilla chips to go along with the guac.
Perfectly creamy dip for your favorite chips or veggies!
- 2 Ripe avocados
- 2 tbsp Cream cheese *preferably low-fat
- Garlic salt *to taste
- 1/2 tbsp Lime juice *optional
- 1/4 cup White onion *chopped
- 1/4 cup Tomato *chopped
- 1/4 cup Cilantro *chopped
Mash avocados with a fork, stir in the cream cheese, garlic salt, lime juice.
Stir in onion, tomato, and cilantro until desired consistency is reached. Enjoy!
